We are a family owned kennel in Howard County, MO.  Three of our children are grown and are either in college of have careers in agriculture.  We have been very involved in 4-H and FFA projects with our children in the past and will be for some time.
   Animals have always been a very big part of our lives.  This is especially true with our dogs.  Our 13 year old daughter, Hayleigh has especially enjoyed her 4-H dog project.  She enjoys rally obedience and has constructed numerous pieces of agility equipment herself to use with her dogs.  We really love the herding breeds.  Their energy, great minds, and athleticism are awesome.  I recently set a goal to make International Champions of all our dogs.  I started with our littleToy Aussie "Roscoe".  We are really proud of his champion title.  We plan to show to Champion Titles one of our stud dogs at a time.  We hope then to start on our females titles.
   My daughter is actively training "Zoey" a blue merle Border Collie in Canine Agility.  She has been training independently but we hope to drive a distance to a new canine sports center for more advanced help and training.  She also recently retired her beautiful Shetland Sheepdog, "Jamie" she is a great loyal girl who does really well in Rally Obedience.  We haven't really pursued titles; we really just enjoy the activities with our dogs.
   Along with the sturdy, smart Working Breeds we also enjoy raising the smart precocious Jack Russell Terriers,  and the elegant Italian Greyhounds.  They really add a lot of variety and fun to our life.  It's really great the different people we have connected with thru our dogs.  We are really concerned with the health and temperament of all our potential pets.  All of our puppies are health checked by our veterinarian at 6-8 weeks old and they are vaccinated with a protocol appropriate to date of age.  They are wormed regularly to keep their immune systems healthy.  They are provided with all of the premium dog/puppyfood to eat as they grow and their minds develop.
